Today I Sold Our Vespa Scooter

Josh and Selena - the new owners.

We loaded and tied it in the back of their truck

This Vespa Primavera 150 was built in March of 2017. Lulu and I enjoyed riding it for 1570 miles - mostly over to FSU campus. It cost $6400 new.

It had 12 horsepower - fuel injection - anti-lock brakes - disk brakes - 150cc engine - it could go 70 mph. It could squeeze about 100 miles out of a gallon of gasoline. I think the Vespa is the only scooter with an all steel body and frame. They are made in Italy at the town of Pontedera. We visited the factory and museum there.

After having scooters for 60 years - I think I have tempted fate enough. We will have to use the red car more in its place. If we do get something to replace it - it will be electric.

We wish the new owners Josh and Selena the best luck with it. They also have another Vespa 50 Scooter.
