Our Christmas Tree in 2018 - 6 Years Ago

 This was 6 years ago. It Christmas writers often loaf - and post some greatest hits. 


We are spending Christmas in Washington DC with the family. Next stop is back home in Tamaqua for a few days. Lulu had to leave her Christmas tree behind - but I thought you would like to see her and some of her ornaments. 

We hope to have a Merry Christmas - and the best New Year ever.

Electric Trike Rickshaw - Product Review

  Sixthreezero.com Capacity 500 pounds Last week we sold our Vespa 150 Scooter. We replaced it with this electric powered trike. They don't have a lot in common other than Lulu and I can go to sporting events on either one.  This electric trike was made by SIXTHREEZERO.COM. They sell a long line of electric bikes - trikes - and scooters. The company is based in California - but it appears the trikes are made in China and assembled in California. I also helped a bit - it comes packed nicely - but the handlebars - fenders - seats - pedals - and computer are easily assembled at home. The trike was compacted nicely in a 150 pound box. The delivery person brought it up the driveway in a hand truck - and dumped it in my garage. It took about one hour to unpack everything - then another hour to assemble it. Review of GE Profile Washer-Dryer Combo - After 10 Days

GE Profile Washer-Dryer Combo We recently replaced our standard stackable LG Washer and Dryer. We have them for about 10 years. I was eager to try a washer dry combo. Lulu was happy to just keep our old units. I consider myself an early adapter or adopter. I always like to get the latest and greatest tools and technology. Lulu tends to pacify me. She gets attached to items and likes to keep them around a long time. I always buy something with an out. In this case I have 90 days to try the new combo. If I get buyer's remorse they go back to the store. Most big box stores are good at return policies. Just keep your receipt and packing.  First off - the new Combo costs $2100. The price included delivery and set up. I never used to buy the extra warranty - but I am soft in my old age - I paid $250 for a 5 year cover everything warranty.
